MADO™ Fork™ — open baffle dipole speaker with transmission line pillars and Koupler™ waveguide

Close Your Eyes. Find the Speakers. You Can't.

The Fork is an open baffle dipole speaker designed to disappear. High frequency comes from the top via a 2" compression driver with Koupler™ waveguide, and from the bottom via a center-mounted super tweeter. You hear the speaker as a unit — not as discrete sources. Close your eyes and all you get is a broad, seamless, cohesive soundstage.

A 15" dipole woofer pushes equally front and back. The two pillars rising like a fork aren't just sculptural — they're partial transmission lines, venting mid-bass from the top. All pro drivers, massively efficient, ready for your tube amp or high-end solid state.

Inquire About Fork™
When you close your eyes, it's very difficult to tell where the sound is actually coming from. You hear just a broad soundstage — very wide, very high, and very cohesive.

The Fork Shape Isn't Just Sculptural

The two pillars rising from the base serve a precise acoustic purpose. They're partial transmission lines — open at the top, channeling mid-bass frequencies upward and venting them into the room. This gives the Fork a fullness in the mid-bass that most open baffle designs can't achieve.

The 15" woofer operates as a true dipole, radiating equally front and back. No box, no port, no tuning artifacts. Just the driver and the air. The result is bass that breathes — open, fast, and dynamic.

At the top, the 2" compression driver fires through the Koupler™ waveguide for coherent high-frequency dispersion, while a center-mounted super tweeter fills in the highest octaves. You hear the speaker as a single point source — despite the drivers being feet apart. That's the magic of the Fork.
